Any individual with a disability that substantially limits his or her independent living is eligible to receive services from ILRC.
A person with a disability is someone with an impairment that substantially limits his/her functioning. That person is eligible for our services if they can benefit from receiving those services.
All of our services are provided with the independent living philosophy as their foundation. For a complete description of the philosophy, click here.
ILRC is a nonprofit organization and does not charge for its services. We rely on funding from state, federal and local grants, the United Way, community businesses and individuals in order to provide services to the community.
